Calla Du Toit is an apple and pear producer who farms with his family at Ouplaas in the Witzenberg Valley. He holds a BSc Agric in Horticulture, as well as Honours and Master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics from Stellenbosch University. After completing his studies, Calla gained international experience in the UK with Hart Worldwide, working within the South African fresh produce supply chain to ASDA. He joined Tru-Cape in 2002 and currently serves as Director: Procurement. Calla is actively involved in several industry boards and organisations and is currently Chairman of Hortgro Pome.
