Schalk Reynolds grew up on a pome and stone fruit farm in the Koue Bokkeveld, where he developed a strong passion for agriculture, nature, and the outdoors.  He holds an MSc (Agric) in Horticultural Sciences from Stellenbosch University.  He began his professional career at Philagro South Africa as a Technical Manager, where he developed expertise in the use of plant growth regulators (PGRs) across a wide range of fruit and vine crops.  In 2006, he joined Valent Biosciences in Libertyville, USA, as Business Manager for Plant Growth Regulators.  In this role, he has been responsible for the development, marketing, and technical support of PGRs across major fruit-producing regions, including Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa.  He continues to contribute to global horticultural innovation.
