Angelique Pretorius is the Technical Manager at Kromco (PTY) LTD in Grabouw, where she also serves as an Executive Committee (EXCO) member. With a background in soil science, horticulture, irrigation agronomy, and agricultural technology , she specializes in optimizing pome fruit production and bridging the gap between scientific research and practical, on-farm application. 

Passionate about sustainable agricultural technology and innovation , Angelique actively contributes to the wider industry, serving as a board member for the Deciduous Fruit Plant Improvement Association (DPA) and participating in several of Hortgro’s technical advisory committees. She strongly believes that strong collaboration, reliable data, and proactive learning are essential to reducing value chain risks and securing the future of farming.
