Charl Stander has more than 35 years of experience as an agricultural advisor and consultant in the deciduous fruit industry. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with growers, providing technical guidance and strategic advice across a wide range of production systems.

In addition to his advisory work, Charl plays an active leadership role within the South African fruit industry. He serves on several industry boards and advisory structures, including the Hortgro Stone Board, Hortgro Stone Producer Council, Hortgro Science Advisory Council, SPV Board and PlantSA Board, contributing to industry strategy, research priorities and the advancement of sustainable fruit production.
